As a university student, Jacob felt constantly weighed down by comparison and self doubt as he lived for the approval of others. This left Jacob feeling like a failure as he felt the weight of expectation crush him.

“You knew my condition and said, ‘come to me all who labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest, for my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” - Jacob

Jesus took on our burden, shame and guilt on the Cross. In doing so, he made His Story our story and gives us eternal hope.
