The Resurrection is foundational, historical, and transformational. Corinth had made their religion and reputation their foundation because they were the best church of its time. They knew the scriptures, they have seen and performed signs and wonders. Paul reminded them the foundations of the Gospel to remind them that the resurrection is the prime doctrine of Christianity, and the foundation of our faith.

We do not believe in vain. The cross has overthrown the grave, putting death to death and giving us eternal life. Let us hold fast to the foundation of our faith, The Gospel that Christ died for our sins and rose from the dead that we might live resurrected lives for Him.
