Prayer is simply talking to God. Philippians 4:4-7 tells us that it is an appropriate thing to do when we feel anxious because it involves talking to our Father in heaven who loves us and who is working out his good purposes in his world. We can pray anywhere, about anything, bringing our real selves to God because he has made us his children through what Jesus has done.
