Session 2: How to Talk About Jesus

11 December 2020

Join Sam Chan in the second of two seminars on how to talk about Jesus with your friends and family.

Drawing from over two decades of experience as an evangelist, teacher, and pastor, Sam will explore why personal evangelism feels so awkward today. And utilizing recent insights from communication theory, cross-cultural ministry, and apologetics these sessions will help you build confidence in sharing your faith with others in socially appropriate ways.

You can also grab a copy of his latest book, "How to Talk About Jesus (without being that 'guy')".

Sam Chan

Sam is a cultural analyst, theologian, public speaker, author, medical doctor and karaoke buddy. Born in Hong Kong, same moved to Australia where he grew up and lives. He studied medicine at the University of Sydney, and did his PhD in Theology at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (TEDS), Chicago, USA. He speaks to high-schoolers and professionals, to seminary students and academics. His topics are evangelism, ethics, preaching, story-telling, and apologetics. Sam is hopeless at taking out the garbage, boiling an egg, rugby, dancing and karaoke - but he does know all the words to Billy Joel's Piano Man (or maybe just the chorus).
